I completely agree concerning Terminal.app. I heard great things about iTerm so I tried it out and lo and behold, I have to use ‘j’ and ‘k’ to scroll one line at a time. No thanks.
If you ever have to use Windows, Parallels is worth checking out. It’s saved me an awful lot of hassle with some official university sites that (still!) only work in IE.
