DSHT is one way to get around the problem of supernodes (as in kazaa or skype) or a tracker (a la bittorrent). It lets you discover peers without having a single point of failure, or in the case of supernodes, without drowning your computer in unwanted bandwith.
Anyway, Coral is great for medium size files, such as audio recordings, but don’t expect it to cache movies that are too big. I’m being vague, I’m too tired to go look at the numbers, sorry.
